Problem: I sometimes don’t feel so confident about connecting with a dad.

All dads everywhere ask themselves what role will feel right in the birth of their children. Sometimes dads really want to get involved, but don’t have a clear model to follow. Sometimes there’s a clear model, yet there are cultural values that are contradictory. You’ve seen it before. How does a man be nurturing and protective at the same time?

If you’ve felt a hesitation in how to help dads, then you’re not alone. This whole dads being involved thing is uncharted territory, and we are all writing a new story for what it looks like for a dad to be empowered in his birth partner role.

Solution: I feel confident connecting with dads and supporting their role in gentle birth choices.

I used to create content to help birth professionals solve problems with the 10% of dads out there that miss the boat when it comes to supporting gentle birth choices. I’ve changed my thinking…

All dads everywhere must make a journey in their mind about how they see themselves now…to how they will see themselves after baby is born.

It doesn’t matter if it’s the 1st baby, 2nd, 3rd, etc.

What this means is that all dads can benefit from consciously building the meaning of a new baby. This is where you can help them.

There are 3 basic steps to having Good Dad Juju

  1. Get in Good
  2. Dig Deeper
  3. Be Clear With What You Want

We’ll dive into these three steps so that you can FEEL MORE CONFIDENT about connecting with dads.

If you would like to dig even deeper into the skills of empathy to really make a difference, then you can get Dad Certified™
